Since 1986 Sogas Spa has been managing the airport of Reggio Calabria, in collaboration with the Province of Reggio Calabria, the Regional Province of Messina, Region of Calabria, the Town Hall of Reggio Calabria and the Chamber of Commerce of Reggio Calabria. It gives assistance to all air carriers using the airport of Reggio Calabria and manages the airport structures and infrastructures dealing also with their maintenance.

Sogas Spa manages the airport system and all the services with the supervision of the Italian Civil Aviation Authority. The company aims at important public objectives, such as air traffic growth, maintenance and fitting working towards continual improvement in quality and security standards. The company assures and gives assistance to airplanes and passengers of all air carriers handled by the airport.
